She Can Code 2020 T&Cs

We’re excited that you want to enter She Can Code 2020. Here are all the details about how you can do that and what fab prizes you can win!

  • Only entries received between 5pm, 24th May and 10am, 25th May 2020 will be accepted. An entry is made by uploading your video, report, or document to the She Can Code 2020 event page. The entry upload area will be open from 8am, 24 May 2020.

  • Entries will be judged by a panel of experts from Digital Future Aotearoa and Learning Architects.

  • To be eligible for the competition, participants must be aged 5 and up, identify as a girl or non-binary, and live in Aotearoa New Zealand. Any student, irrelevant of gender, can use the project resources for their own learning!

  • The project is published under Creative Commons licence CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.

  • Ten individual Spheros will be awarded to students (or a team of students) based on recommendations by the expert panel of judges from Digital Future Aotearoa and Learning Architects!

  • A general prize draw will be made for any teacher, Code Club leader, Girl Guide leader, or other educational leader who registers on behalf of their students. This includes three separate prizes: 1) an Electric Garden 2) an EduTech Kit (which includes a Sphero, a MakeyMakey and a Micro:bit), and 3) PLD session with Learning Architects.
